Welcome to Benevolent Lodge #7 Free And Accepted Masons
30 Mont Vernon Street Milford, NH 03055 Our lodge has met in this area since 1797. Beginning it's work when our Masonic Brother, George Washington was still the President of the United States. We are proud of our rich history and heritage and are looking forward to an equally rich and productive future. This website is our latest communication tool for members of our Lodge. We will use it as a central repository for schedule and event information. We hope that this site will encourage fellow Masons to visit our Lodge when they find themselves in the area, and join us in Masonic fellowship. To our non-Masonic visitors we hope that you might be afforded a glimpse into the Masonic Fraternity which means so much to so many of us. WHO ARE MASONS? For centuries, Freemasons have contributed to the communities in which they live through the principles of Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth. Freemasonry has existed in New Hampshire since 1735, and many of the leading citizens of our state have been Freemasons. Being a member of the oldest and largest fraternal order in the world is a rewarding and educational experience. Our charitable activities are many and varied, Masons contribute approximately $3,000,000.00 a day to causes such as: the Shriners' Hospitals for Children, support of medical research, scholarships, programs for child identification and combating drug abuse, the Scottish Rite Learning Centers, and quiet, local charity. Freemasons are committed to helping those who are less fortunate, and in the process we are building a better and safer world. The Masonic Lodge, otherwise known as "Blue Lodge", is the center of activity from which all other Masonic organizations spring. Without Blue Lodge, there would be no Shrine, Scottish or York Rite, Eastern Star, Rainbow or DeMolay to advance their noble and charitable causes. The single highest Masonic authority within the state of New Hampshire is the Grand Lodge of New Hampshire. CLICK HERE FOR A LIST OF NOTABLE MASONS
